Wearing my new “feathered fascinator” that I made the other day. These things are so much fun to make, and even more fun to wear around the house. I really think we need to normalize playing dressing up, don’t you? It’s so much fun!

“How do I discover the Father through my own story?” I loved this question from Matt Beckenham and it really made me think. I think it would be an amazing exercise to write a Psalm… using one of David’s Psalms as a template. Where have I seen God in my own story? What would I praise God for, what would I lament? It’s an equally sobering and exciting idea and I challenge you to give it a try!

As we hear God’s voice we discover our identity and the grace and authority we are called to step into. What a gift that is. God’s fingerprints are all through your story, whether or not you realize it. Be blessed today my friend. God is with you! God has been with you from the very beginning.
